There are great ships that have been built and are driven in fierce winds but they are turned with a very small helm and it goes wherever it is driven to by that small thing. Even horses no matter how big they may be but they are turned by small bits that are put in their mouths.
The Bible says the same way these things are turned around and driven by small things, our lives too are driven by a very small member of our body and this is the tongue. The tongue has the power to drive your life to any direction you want. Know that your life is shaped by the words that come out of your mouth. The bible says life and death are in the power of your tongue.
Your life today maybe the result of the things you were speaking yesterday and what you are speaking today maybe what your life will be tomorrow. Proverbs 6:2 says though art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
Jesus said by your words thou shalt be justified, and
by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Speak wise words from today. Don’t speak careless words because your tongue is the steering wheel of your life. Use it to create the desired future you are looking for. Drive your life in the direction you want.
